We work to reduce the administrative burden of employee health insurance plans for public sector administrators. We also provide advice and administrative support services to employer group administrators for day to day assistance. These administrative functions are included for all NHIT member groups at no additional cost.
The NHIT Member Services Team provides assistance in responding to coverage and claims related questions, helping to resolve any claims-related disputes and works directly with Employees and Employers during Open Enrollment.
Enrollment & Billing
The Enrollment & Billing Team works directly with NHIT Member Groups to assist with invoicing, eligibility, ID Card requests, enrollment, terminations and changes, as well as COBRA Administration assistance.
Direct retiree and NHRS billing options are provided by the NHIT Enrollment & Billing Team. NHIT works directly with the New Hampshire Retirement System (and individual retirees if applicable) to collect retiree premiums.
RDS Program Assistance
The Retiree Drug Subsidy Program is offered by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to reimburse health plan sponsors for a portion of their eligible expenses for retiree prescription drug benefits. The NHIT Member Services Team assists with application, attestation and data processing.
ACA Training & Assistance
The NHIT Member Services Team coordinates Affordable Care Act compliance trainings and updates to NHIT Member Groups.
