The entire NHIT team is wonderful! I reach out to them regularly looking for an answer to a question or resolve an issue!! Sometimes it involves an employee or retiree who is looking for an answer or a temporary ID. They get back to me or the individual quickly, which is very much appreciated, and makes my job easier.

We have also had great feedback from our employees about the NHIT Benefit programs — Wellness, Reduce My Costs, Doctor on Demand and the EAP.

NHIT’s staff provides excellent customer service, and training for our staff. This talented group has provided great education to the employees to assist them in managing/using their health benefits, which has helped our employees to manage their out of pocket health care costs. The NHIT staff has also provided plan guidance and wellness training, which has again benefited the employees. This outstanding customer service is a great value to our small community.

Berlin Public Schools, SAU 3, has been a part of the New Hampshire Interlocal Trust team since it began in 2012. During that time, there has always been someone available to answer any of our questions or deal with any issues.

We have particularly enjoyed and utilized the Wellness Programs. Our district has participated in all of the Wellness 100 challenges. During our last challenge, 100 percent of the participants completed the entire program. The Wellness Team has always been very helpful, informative, and willing to listen to new ideas.


The districts of SAU 9 (Conway, Jackson, Eaton, etc.) have been with the New Hampshire Interlocal Trust since its inception, and their customer service is just outstanding! They’re big enough to handle our relatively large number of participants, but still small enough to allow us a personal connection with everyone at the NHIT office. As a North Country district, I was concerned about receiving the attention needed during the transition, plan changes, etc. but they’ve consistently made us feel like we’re right next door.

NHIT worked closely with Town staff and our employees to ensure everyone fully understood the benefits available to them and to make the transition into their plan as smooth as possible. Our administrative questions were handled quickly and knowledgeably. This was one of the easiest benefit program transitions I’ve ever experienced in over 15 years of municipal government.
